Dr. Halma is a pediatric transplant hepatologist at Children’s Mercy Kansas City. She attended University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine and completed her pediatric residency and gastroenterology fellowship at Children’s Mercy. She went on to complete her advanced pediatric transplant hepatology fellowship at Stanford University before returning to Kansas City as faculty. She is passionate about improving the quality of life for pediatric liver transplant recipients and their families through collaborative efforts to optimize post-transplant care.
