Biography

Peace Nkechinyere Dike, MD, is a Transplant Hepatologist and Clinical Assistant Professor in the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition at Stanford/Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital. She completed her residency in pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine/Texas Children’s Hospital and her pediatric gastroenterology fellowship and advanced training year in pediatric transplant hepatology at Baylor College of Medicine/Texas Children’s Hospital before joining Stanford. Her clinical interests include pediatric liver transplantation, cholestatic liver disease, portal vein anomalies, and portal hypertension. She serves as the Medical Director of the Portal Vein Anomalies Program at Stanford. She is incredibly passionate about improving health equity in pediatrics. She is a principal investigator of her grant-funded research, which focuses on improving waitlist outcomes for pediatric racial and ethnic minority liver transplant candidates and a novel approach for Biliary Atresia screening at Stanford. She is also the Co-Director of Transplant Equity Hub in the Office of Child Health Equity, Interim Faculty Director, and Co-Faculty Lead for Health Equity Rounds in the Office of Engagement and Opportunity within the Department of Pediatrics at Stanford. She has participated in various mentorship roles and health equity activities. In her free time, she enjoys traveling abroad, wellness and exercise, and spending time with her family and friends.
