Dr. Jill Plevinsky is a pediatric psychologist in the liver and lung transplant programs at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, and an assistant professor of clinical psychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine. She received her doctoral degree in clinical health psychology from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science after completing her pre-doctoral residency in pediatric psychology at the Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Dr. Plevinsky then completed an NIH/NICHD T32-funded postdoctoral fellowship in the Center for Adherence and Self-Management at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. She currently serves as the founding chair of the SPLIT Psychology Committee within the SPLIT Multidisciplinary Committee, represented the psychology perspective on a recent update of the pediatric liver transplant evaluation guidelines as a member of the American Association for the the Study of Liver Diseases, and is an active member of the American Society of Transplantation's Pediatric Liver and Transition Communities of Practice. Dr. Plevinsky provides clinical care to youth undergoing solid organ transplant and their families with specific expertise in promoting adherence, self-management, and transition readiness.
